Brunei joins
International ICT Expo

The ICT Expo in
Bangkok.
Brunei Darussalam, through the
Ministry of Communication, has been invited by the
Royal Thai Government to participate in the Bangkok
International Info-Communications Technology (ICT)
Expo, a press communiqué from the Authority for
Info-Communications Technology Industry of Brunei
Darussalam (AiTi) stated.
The event, which is being held in Bangkok from
August 4 till 8, is the largest ICT event in
Thailand with a participation of more than 200
international ICT and telecommunication
manufacturers and service providers.
The Sultanate, represented by 10 local agencies,
will be joining other Asean countries at the ICT
Expo in the Asean Pavilion. AiTi Brunei Darussalam
will be leading the participation of the ten local
agencies at the Brunei Darussalam Pavilion.
Comprising participants from the government and
private sector, these agencies will be exhibiting
their projects and initiatives related to the ICT
industry of Brunei.
The participating local agencies comprise the
Ministry of Communications, AiTi Brunei Darussalam,
BIT Council, Jabatan Telekom Brunei, DST
Communications Sdn Bhd, UBD, CfBT, Folec
Communications Sdn Bhd, Rumbian Nation, Mars
Enterprise and John Harith Computers.
The event is held concurrently with the 4th Asean
Telecommunications & IT Ministerial Meeting (4th
TELEMIN) and the 5th Asean Telecommunications & IT
Senior Officials Meeting (5th TELSOM).
